PhenoRob is a Cluster of Excellence at the University of Bonn in cooperation with Forschungszentrum Jülich in its second phase and is committed to leading the sustainable and technology-driven transformation of crop production through interdisciplinary, cutting-edge research. Their vision is to transform crop production by optimizing breeding and farming management through developing and deploying novel technological solutions for the future of agriculture.
In their second funding phase, they are intensifying their integrative approach to develop new innovative cropping systems that simultaneously tackle ecological, economic, and societal needs. Their scientists have backgrounds in robotics, geodesy, computer science, plant phenotyping, soil science, crop science, ecology, and agricultural economics. PhenoRob is driving impactful change toward future-proof agriculture
